January 10, 2013

During the week Dec. 24-31 Galloway police answered 853 calls for service. Officers made 31 arrests and issued 85 traffic summonses, including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 24 motor vehicle accidents, 22 domestic complaints, 38 medical assists and seven fire calls.

Tammy Valazquez, 53, of Egg Harbor Township was arrested Dec. 24 by Officer Christian Magazzu and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.

Samuel Fairweather, 28, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 25 by Officer Stephen Vernon and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single-car motor vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Andre R. Byrdsong Jr., 23, of Mt. Holly was arrested Dec. 27 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

Neftali Beltran, 34, of Burlington was arrested Dec. 27 by Officer Vincent Ceci and charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. He was released on a summons.

Daniel Camp, 19, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 27 by Officer Gary Brenner and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Joshua Flores, 25, of Jersey City was arrested Dec. 27 by Officer P.J. Neal and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Deborah Iwanski, 47, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 28 by Officer William Kline and charged with possession
of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a hypodermic needle following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.

Juan Higgins, 34, of Atlantic City was arrested Dec. 28 by Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with hindering
apprehension.

Madeline Ericson, 31, of Buena was arrested Dec. 29 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.

Rodger Alvarez, 33, of New York was arrested Dec. 30 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Kathleen Cavileer, 55, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Officer Daniel Choe and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

Maria Rivera, 45, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop. She was released on a summons.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported to buildings Dec. 24 on E. Mourning Dove Way, Dec. 25 on S. Canary Way, Dec. 26 on Old New York Road, Dec. 27 in the 500 block of Tilton Road and Dec. 30 on Federal Court.

Vehicle burglaries were reported Dec. 24 on Terry Lane and Dec. 26 on Woodhaven Avenue.

Sheriff's Report

Richard A. Bonner, 43, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 13 by Detective Jeffery Newman and Sheriff's Officers Michael Ledden and Danielle Torres for nonsupport.

Joseph T. Higgins, 43, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 14 by Sheriff's Officer Brian Welsh for nonsupport.

Scott M. Trefero, 32, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 14 by Sheriff's Officer Stephen Lisi for nonsupport.

 

December 27, 2012

Galloway police answered 861 calls Dec. 10-16. Officers made 33 arrests and issued 86 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 24 motor vehicle accidents, 19 domestic complaints, 89 medical assists and six fi re calls.

Sean Clarke, 18, of Absecon was arrested Dec. 10 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Steven T. Hayes Jr., 18, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 10 by Officer Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Derreck M. Robinson, 20, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 12 by Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with simple assault and harassment following a disturbance. He was released on a summons.

Arpan M. Shah, 28, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 12 by Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Jessica Travis, 24, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Dec. 13 by Officer P.J. Neal and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Luis A. Figueroa, 54, and Alex Morales, 32, of Egg Harbor City were arrested Dec. 13 by Officer Tom Guercioni and charged with receiving stolen property. Both were released on summonses.

Daniel Diaz, 18, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 14 by Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia during a vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Dalene White, 50, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 14 by Officer William Kline and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Oscar Oyola Jr., 26, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 15 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Francis Baldwin IV, 29, of Absecon was arrested Dec. 15 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Burglary Report

Building burglaries were reported Dec. 11 on Meadow Ridge Road, Dec. 14 on Seventh Avenue, Dec. 15 on Abraham Avenue and Damson Avenue, and Dec. 16 on Oakbourne Avenue.

Vehicles burglaries were reported Dec. 10 on Cherokee Drive, Dec. 12 on East White Horse Pike and Dec. 13 on Cos Cob Drive.

 

December 20, 2012

During the week of Dec. 03 - 09 Galloway police answered 789 calls. Officers made 13 arrests, and issued 22 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 32 motor vehicle accidents, eight domestic complaints, 34 medical assists and 13 fire calls.

Samuel J. Holland, 18, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 03 by Ptl. John Mooney for Possession of CDS (Marijuana Under 50 Grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Debra M. Goldstein, 55, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 04by Ptl. John Mooney for DWI following a motor vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

Bernard B. Roberson, 24, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 05 by Det. Ryan Goehringer for Burglary, Theft, Possession of CDS (Cocaine) and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle following a burglary investigation from 12/04/2012. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail. Ptl. Smith assisted with the initial investigation.

Dariel N. Moore, 44, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 05 by Ptl. Kevin Costa for Possession of CDS (Prescription Pills and Marijuana Under 50 Grams), Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

Michael R. Defilippo, 19, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 08 by Ptl. Daniel Weigle for Underage DWI following a one-vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported to buildings on Dec. 03 on Crestview Ave., Dec. 04 on S. Ash Ave., and Dec. 05 on Aloe St.

Motor vehicle burglaries were reported on Dec. 07 on Turner Ave. and Dec. 09 on Apache Ct.

 

December 13, 2012

During the week of Nov. 26 - Dec. 02 Galloway police answered 887 calls. Officers made 24 arrests, and issued 99 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 25 motor vehicle accidents, 17 domestic complaints, 32 medical assists and 15 fire calls.

John R. Mannering Jr., 53, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 27  by Ptl. Ron Gorneau for DWI following a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Robert A. Nelson Jr., 56, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 27 by Ptl. Matthew Worth for Obstruction while investigating a suspicious person. He was released on a summons.

Adam D. Obertlik, 25, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 28 by Det. Bryan Casey for Burglary and Theft following a residential burglary investigation. Ptl. Steve Vernon and Cpl. John Kelly assisted with the initial investigation.

Kyle Snavely, 33, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 30 by Det. Bryan Casey for CDS Distribution and Possession of CDS (Heroin and Cocaine) following a motor vehicle stop. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Christopher D. Carter, 29, of Egg Harbor Twp. was arrested Dec. 02 by Ptl. Steven Vernon for Possession of a Hypodermic Needle following motor vehicle stop. A subsequent search warrant on the vehicle obtained by Det. Ryan Goehringer resulted in both Mr. Carter and Mr. John E. Heiting III, 44, of Hammonton being charged with Possession and Distribution of CDS (Methamphetamine). Mr. Cater was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $30,000 bail. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Mr. Heiting III.

Ronald Kurtz II, 25, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 02 by Ptl. Robert Bauer for Disorderly Conduct while investigating a motor vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Tuan Tran, 26, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 02 by Ptl. Ron Gorneau for Possession of CDS (Prescription Pills) and DWI following a motor vehicle stop. He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported to buildings Nov. 26 on Pomon Rd. and Ebony Tree Ln., and on Dec. 02 on Driftwood Ct.

A motor vehicle burglary was reported Dec. 01 on Willow Ave.

 

December 06, 2012

During the week of Nov. 19-25 Galloway police answered 717 calls. Officers made 17 arrests, and issued 83 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 27 motor vehicle accidents, 11 domestic complaints, 30 medical assists and seven fire calls.

Stanley R. Kozlowski, 25, of Port Republic was arrested Nov. 19 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while intoxicated during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Marzavier L. Poteat, 24, of Hamilton Township was arrested Nov. 23 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

John E. Hamlett, 30, of Newfield was arrested Nov. 23 by Cpl. Gerald Houck and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and obstruction while police were investigating a suspicious motor vehicle. Hamlett drove from the scene, crashed the vehicle, and fled on foot. He was located shortly afterward and taken into custody. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $50,000 bail.

Mahavirku G. Mehta, 31, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 23 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

James J. Mazzeo, 32, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. was arrested Nov. 24 by K-9 Cpl. Mark D’Esposito and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Jabril Z. Harper, 18, of Atlantic City was arrested Nov. 25 by Ptl. Steve Garrison and charged with hindering apprehension during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported to buildings Nov. 21 on S. Berlin Avenue, and Nov. 22 on South 6th Avenue, Ivystone Court, South Wood Lane and Cypress Point Drive.

Motor vehicle burglaries were reported Nov. 19 on E. White Horse Pike, Nov. 21 on South Fir Avenue, Nov. 22 on Arbutus Avenue and Nov. 25 on East Timber Lane.

Sheriff’s Report

Adam Obertlik, 25, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 26 by Detectives Steven Hillesheim and William Askins on a Superior Court bench warrant.

Howard A. Dickerson IV, 50, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 8 by Detectives Steven Hillesheim and Michael Hankins on a Superior Court bench warrant.

Tyrone Hawthorne, 47, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 9 by Sheriff’s Officer Nicholas Ferguson for nonsupport.

Patrick Obrien, 27, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 9 by Detective Jeffery Newman and Sheriff’s Officer Lauren Nawrocki for nonsupport.

Michael Bishop, 50, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 14 by Sheriff’s Officer Matthew Poupard on a Superior Court bench warrant.

Quincy Waters, 30, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 15 by Sheriff’s Officer Samantha Guercioni for nonsupport.

 

November 29, 2012

Galloway police answered 792 calls the week of Nov. 12-19. Officers made 32 arrests and issued 72 traffic summonses, including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 25 motor vehicle accidents, 14 domestic complaints, 35 medical assists and seven fire calls.

Todd A. Gromacki, 25, of Hamilton Township was arrested Nov. 13 by Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Darnell E. Handy, 33, and Yolanda L. Handy, 27, both of Galloway, were arrested Nov. 13 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with obstruction during a motor vehicle stop. Both were released on summonses.

Desi A. Stroud Jr., 31, of Hamilton Township and Emma M. Roary, 29, of Galloway were arrested Nov. 14 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger. Stroud was charged with driving while under DWI suspension. Roary was charged with hindering apprehension. Both were released on summonses.

Donisha T. Tobe, 24, of Atlantic City was arrested Nov. 14 by Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams while she was attempting to post bail at police headquarters. She was released on a summons.

Robert S. Cincotti, 19, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 15 by K-9 Cpl. Mark D’Esposito and charged with burglary and theft following a motor vehicle burglary investigation. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on a warrant. Ptl. Steven Garrison and Detective Ryan Goehringer assisted with the investigation.

Tyrone E. Santiago, 23, of Hamilton Township was arrested Nov. 15 by Ptl. Raymond Glick and charged with theft following an investigation into money stolen from gym lockers at Tilton Fitness. He was released on a summons. Detective Ryan Goehringer assisted with the investigation.

Kyle S. Parker, 24, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 16 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Jean O. Dieudonne, 30, of Absecon was arrested Nov. 16 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with hindering apprehension during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Anibal Perez, 34, of Atlantic City was arrested Nov. 17 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Tuan Tran, 26, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 18 by Cpl. Greg Bollinger and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Marquis T. Howard, 19, Shanaida S. Gonzalez-Morgan, 21, and Nicole R. Miller, 21, all of Pleasantville, and William L. Howard, 21, of Galloway were arrested Nov. 18 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with hindering apprehension during a motor vehicle stop. Marquis T. Howard, Gonzalez-Morgan and Miller were released on summonses. William L. Howard was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on an unrelated warrant.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported at buildings Nov. 12 on Bremen Avenue and Nov. 14 on Aloe Street.

Vehicle burglaries were reported Nov. 12 on Mattix Run and Fishers Creek Road.

 

November 22, 2012

During the week Nov. 5-11 Galloway police answered 809 calls. Officers made 26 arrests and issued 85 traffic summonses including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 32 motor vehicle accidents, five domestic complaints, 28 medical assists and 19 fire calls.

Edward D. DiDonato, 18, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 6 by Ptl. Daniel Weigle and charged with obstruction while the officer investigated a suspicious person. He was released on a summons.

Christopher M. Ryan, 39, of Little Egg Harbor Township was arrested Nov. 6 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia after police received a call about suspicious activity. He was released on summonses.

Christopher M. Stewart, 33, of Galloway was arrested Nov. 7 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

James L. Youngblood Jr., 33, and Danielle R. Porter, 31, both of Philadelphia were arrested Nov. 7 by Detective Bryan Casey. Youngblood was charged with possession of marijuana and pills, engaging in prostitution and promoting prostitution while police investigated a suspicious person. Porter was charged with engaging in prostitution. Both were released on summonses.

Vincent A. Battaglia Jr., 55, of Brigantine was arrested Nov. 10 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Ian R. Doran, 22, of Somers Point was arrested Nov. 11 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Margarita Nieves, 48; Daryl Dilihay, 42; Katiria Berrios, 34; and Daniel Berrios, 19, all of Galloway, were arrested Nov. 11 by Ptl. P.J. Neal and charged with resisting arrest, obstruction and hindering apprehension while police executed an arrest warrant. All were released on summonses with the exception of Dilihay who was confined to the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on unrelated warrants.

Juvenile Report

A 12-year-old Pleasantville boy was arrested Nov. 6 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with possession of a weapon. He was released on a juvenile summons.

Burglary Report

A burglary was reported Nov. 7 to a building on S. Wrangleboro Road.

 

 

November 15, 2012

During the week Oct. 29-Nov. 4 Galloway police answered 799 calls. Officers made a total of 12 arrests and issued 44 traffic summonses, including one charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 15 motor vehicle accidents, 14 domestic complaints, 39 medical assists and 31 fire calls.

Justino Roman Jr., 22, of Howell was arrested Nov. 2 by Ptl. Raymond Glick and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Storm Report

The beginning of the week saw Hurricane Sandy impact the township. As a result of Sandy, officers handled substantially more calls for alarms, roadway debris and other hazards caused by the inclement weather during and after the storm.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported at buildings Oct. 30 on East Fisher Creek Road and Nov. 1 on Pheasant Meadow Drive. 

Sheriff’s Report

Michael J. Benjamin, 46, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 12 by Sheriff’s Officer Joseph Temme on a Superior Court bench warrant and a municipal warrant issued by Ventnor.

Joseph Higgins, 43, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 18 by Detectives Jeffery Newman and Jeffrey Takotey and Sheriff’s Officer Michael Ledden for nonsupport and on a municipal warrant issued by Atlantic City.

Cale Waddell, 27, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 18 by Detective Jeffery Newman, and Sheriff’s Officers Frank Lupperger and Jason Sheets on a Superior Court bench warrant.

Frank Ulloa, 24, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 22 by Sheriff’s Officer Jacob Feinberg for nonsupport.

 

November 08, 2012

During the week Oct. 22-28 Galloway police answered 758 calls. Officers made a total of 23 arrests and issued 73 traffic summonses, including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 25 motor vehicle accidents, 13 domestic complaints, 33 medical assists and nine fire calls.

John C. Cooper, 44, of Hamilton Township was arrested Oct. 24 by Ptl. Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (pills) during a pedestrian stop. He was released on a summons.

Hersh S. Anand, 18, and John A. Golday III, 18, both of Somers Point, were arrested Oct. 24 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana less than 50 grams) and possession of paraphernalia during an investigation into a suspicious vehicle. They were released on summonses.

Rodolfo M. Morales, 33, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 25 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Michael Z. Laclaire, 18, of Carneys Point was arrested Oct. 25 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with underage driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

James P. Enny, 23, of Leonardo was arrested Oct. 25 by Ptl. Ron Gorneau and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Jared M. Ganiel, 18, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 25 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana less than 50 grams) and possession of paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Jorge L. Valentin-Truax, 31, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Oct. 26 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (pills) during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Ronald M. Kern, 55, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 27 by Sgt. Joseph Picardi and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Juvenile Report

Two 17-year-old boys from Galloway were arrested Oct. 22 by Ptl. Daniel Choe during a motor vehicle stop and charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Both were released on juvenile summonses.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported at buildings Oct. 24 on S. Zenia Avenue, Oct. 27 on Seminole Drive and Oct. 28 on W. North Street.

 

November 02, 2012

From Oct. 15-21 Galloway police answered 727 calls. Officers made 20 arrests and issued 72 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 24 motor vehicle accidents, five domestic complaints, 37 medical assists and 11 fire calls.

Darnell A. Stone, 44, of Atlantic City was arrested Oct. 15 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and hindering apprehension during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on summonses. 

Keane E. Blann, 41, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 15 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle. He was released on a summons.

Kamal Black, 23, of Hamilton Township was arrested Oct. 15 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with hindering apprehension during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a summons.

Ronald J. Welcer Jr., 43, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 16 by Ptl. Kenneth Snuffer and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Cynthia M. Strohm, 29, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 18 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with defiant trespass following a disturbance investigation. She was released on a summons.

Jeffrey C. Weiss, 22, of White Haven, Pa. was arrested Oct. 18 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), possession of paraphernalia and obstruction during a pedestrian stop. He was released on a summons.

Kevin J. Farri, 45, of Hammonton was arrested Oct. 21 by Ptl. Kenneth Snuffer and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Kenneth P. Fatcher Jr., 23, of Hammonton was charged by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau  with resisting by flight after fleeing a motor vehicle stop on a motorcycle. Fatcher was later arrested Oct. 21 and released on a summons.

Burglary Report

October 25, 2012

During the week Oct. 8-14 Galloway police answered 778 calls. Officers made a total of 13 arrests, and issued 65 traffic summonses including one charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 27 motor vehicle accidents, eight domestic complaints, 36 medical assists and nine fire calls.

David Belk, 64, of New Gretna, Ralph Grottalio, 54, of Little Egg Harbor Township and Holly Crouch, 47, of Tuckerton were arrested Oct. 9 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, heroin, at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus after security officers told police they observed suspicious activity. Belk and Grottalio were arrested by Ptl. William Schroer. Crouch was arrested by K-9 Cpl. Mark D’Esposito. All suspects were released on summonses.

Santiago Mejia-Betancourth, 35, of Atlantic City was arrested Oct. 10 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with obstruction while investigating an erratic driver complaint – a motorcycles racing in the roadway. He was released on a summons.

William Sheehan, 41, of Dumont was arrested Oct. 11 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was incarcerated in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on an unrelated warrant.

Anthony Canizzaro III, 30, of Galloway, Luis Velez Jr. of Atlantic City and Nicole Fichetola, 30, of Galloway were arrested by K-9 Officer Kevin Welsh and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, a handgun; possession of hollow-point bullets, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia following an investigation into an attempted armed robbery. Canizzaro and Velez were also charged as convicted felons not allowed to have weapons. All were incarcerated in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on warrants with Canizarro and Velez held on $150,000 full-cash bail and Fichetola held on $50,000 full-cash bail.

During the week Oct. 1-7 the Galloway Township Police Department answered 791 calls. Officers made 32 arrests and issued 82 traffic summonses, including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 20 motor vehicle accidents, 13 domestic complaints, 95 medical assists and 11 fire calls.

Eric M. Cruz, 18, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 1 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with  driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

William Diaz, 21, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 1 by Ptl. Daniel Weigle and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on summonses.

John Fox, 57, of Hamilton Township was arrested Oct. 2 by Ptl. William Kline and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Joshua D. Raphael, 25, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 3 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams. He was released on a summons.

Anthony V. Hibbs, 35, of Atlantic City was arrested Oct. 4 by Ptl. Kevin Jorgensen and charged with theft, burglary and receiving stolen property. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on unrelated warrants.

Ranon K. McLaughlin, 35, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 6 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Claud R. Reeves, 44, of Galloway was arrested Oct. 7 by Ptl. William Kline and charged with criminal trespass during a suspicious vehicle investigation. He was released on a summons.

Juvenile Report

A 17-year-old boy from Pleasantville was arrested Oct. 3 by Detective Brian Casey and charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, controlled dangerous substance distribution, possession of marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a juvenile summons.

A 13-year-old boy from Galloway was arrested Oct. 4 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams. He was released on a juvenile summons.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported to buildings Oct. 1 on Cherokee Drive, Oct. 3 on E. White Horse Pike and Oct. 4 on Chris Gaupp Drive.

Ariel R. Leitz, 22, Galloway was arrested Sept. 24 by K-9 Officer Scott Winneberger for possession of CDS. She was released on a summons.

Kevin T. Wright, 20, of Hamilton Twp. was arrested Sept. 26 by Ptl. Justin Butler for hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Steven Schmidt, 20, of Somers Point was arrested Sept. 26 by Det. Bryan Casey on 10 counts of burglary to a motor vehicle and theft in ten different incidences which occurred in April, August and September. He was released on summonses.  

Keane E. Blann, 41, of Galloway was arrested Sept. 27 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman on two counts of possession of CDS, possession of CDS paraphernalia  and possession of hypodermic needles. He was released on a summons.

David L. Hood, 41, of Galloway was arrested Sept. 27 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger for DWI. He was released on a summons.

Craig Pendleton, 19, of Galloway was arrested Sept. 27 by Det. Bryan Casey for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, possession of an unlawful weapon, possession of hollow point bullets and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was lodged in ACJF on $55,000 full bail. In the same incident, Brian D. Pendleton, 48 and David Whealton, 25, both of Galloway, were arrested for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. They were released on summonses.

Kunal Ratwani, 22, of Galloway was arrested Sept. 27 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos for possession of CDS. He was released on summons.

Tichana A. Holloway, 19, of Pleasantville, was arrested Sept. 27 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau for theft, theft of a credit card and fraudulent use of a credit card. She was released on a summons.  

Ronald Cofield, 21, of Galloway was arrested Sept. 28 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

Lachaye M. Hoskins, 21, of Galloway was arrested Sept. 17 by Officer Jason Kiamos and charged with hindering apprehension. She was released on a summons.

Wayne B. Greer III, 33, of Mullica Township was arrested Sept. 18 by Officer Ronald Gorneau and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Joseph Ruggeri, 30, of Galloway and Robert Phillips, 28, of Hamilton Township were arrested Sept. 21 by Officer Scott Winneberger. Ruggeri was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (pills) and released on a summons. Phillips was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and hindering apprehension. His bail was set at $1,000 by Judge Howard E. Freed. Phillips was taken to the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing.

Jarrod D. Renfroe, 23, of Country Club Hills, Ill. was arrested Sept. 22 by Officer Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was released on a summons.

Johnny J. Dick Jr., 36, of Galloway was arrested Sept. 23 by Officer Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Brandy Tamara Hopkins, 32 and Richard Lee Meades, 34, both of Galloway, were arrested Aug. 15 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger. Hopkins was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and released on a summons. Meades was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on a fugitive warrant with no bail.

Edward J. Crouch, 47, of Pleasantville was arrested Aug. 17 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez with the help of Detective Cpl. Eric Hendricksen and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, three charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and two charges of possession of a weapon. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $250,000 full cash bail.

Edward P. Kramer Jr., 21, of Galloway was arrested Aug. 9 by Ptl. Dan Weigle and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $50,000 full-cash bail. 

Bryan M. Gillis, 24, of Galloway was arrested Aug. 9 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with possession of hypodermic needles. He was released on a summons.

Charles E. Blalack 3rd, 28, of Egg Harbor City and Kevin W. Dean, 27, of Galloway were arrested Aug. 10 by Detective Bryan Casey.  Blalack was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. Dean was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia. Alyssa L. Smierciak, 18, of Gloucester City was arrested Aug. 11 by Detective Bryan Casey and charged with engaging in prostitution. She was released on a summons.

Danny H. Alcantara, 46, of Deltona, Fla. was arrested Aug. 12 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Mark Barney, 23, of Galloway was arrested July 30 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Olinda L. Cardenas, 23, of Conroe, Texas and Warren J. LeBlanc, Jr., 38, of Willis, Texas were arrested July 31 by Ptl. John Mooney. Cardenas was held on a fugitive warrant and theft. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing with no bail. LeBlanc was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia and simple assault. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $25,000 bail.  

Jon Russell Miller, 18, and Frederick Stipa, 20, both of Absecon, were arrested Aug. 1 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. They were released on summonses.

Stephany N. Assmuss, 19, of Hamilton Township was arrested Aug. 2 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension. She was released on a summons. 

Diana Diaz, 23, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Aug. 3 by Detective Bryan Casey and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and tampering with evidence. She was released on a summons.

William J. Gerhardt, Jr., 29, of Galloway and Marcus Debow, 25, and Joshua Mangold, 26, both of Mullica, were arrested Aug. 4 by Ptl. John Mooney. All were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. Debow was also charged with burglary, theft and resisting arrest. Mangold was charged with receiving stolen property and resisting arrest. And Gerhardt was charged with burglary and theft. Mangold and Debow were lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $15,000 bail and Debow was held there on $20,000 bail.

Michael Disisto, 32, of Mt. Kisco, N.Y. was arrested Aug. 5 by Ptl. Ray Glick and charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, criminal mischief, improper behavior and resisting arrest.  He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $35,000 bail.   

Robert K. Taylor, 39, was arrested Aug. 5 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with resisting arrest and obstruction.  He was released on a summons.

August 09, 2012

During the week July 23-29 Galloway police answered 813 calls. Officers made a total of 41 arrests, and issued 83 traffic summonses including five charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 22 motor vehicle accidents, 17 domestic complaints, 89 medical assists and 17 fire calls.  

Sanongsac Sounthavong, 44, of Galloway was arrested July 24 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.  

Kamaria Douglas, 23, of Brentwood, Md. was arrested July 25 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.  

Andrew L. Dixon, Jr., 25, of Egg Harbor City was arrested July 25 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.  

James L. Dontez, 29, of Pleasantville, was arrested July 25 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with assault by auto, following a hit-and-run accident. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on an outstanding warrant.  

Glenn Stucker, 39, of Hamilton Township was arrested July 28 by Ptl. Steven Garrison and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Keith E. Creato, 33, of Galloway was arrested July 28 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.  

Kimberly M. Dahm, 27, of Pleasantville, was arrested July 28 by Ptl. Stephen Vernon and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and a hypodermic needle. She was released on a summons.  

Diane Donelan, 51, and Nike Howard, 47, both of Galloway, were arrested July 28 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau. Donelan was charged with two counts each of resisting arrest by fleeing and obstruction. Her bail was set by Judge Howard Freed at $10,000. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing. Howard was charged with hindering apprehension and released on a summons. Officer Gorneau observed a motorcycle lying on ground in front of the 5th Avenue Wawa. A driver and passenger reported they were struck in the rear as they were pulling out of the Wawa. Both reported that the involved vehicle - a 2011 black Toyota Corolla - fled the scene. Sgt. Donna Higbee located the vehicle a short distance away on Magnolia Avenue, arriving at a residence. The vehicle pulled into the garage and the door was closing as police arrived. Police received no response at the door. Entry to the home was gained and both of the above were taken into custody. Donelan was additionally charged in connection with the accident and issued summons and charged with driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and careless driving.  

Shirley Kay, 59, of Galloway was arrested July 29 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.  

Stacey L. Cox, 31, and Davis E. Cox, Jr., of Galloway were arrested July 29 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez and charged with possession of a  controlled dangerous substance. They were released on summonses.

During the week July 16-22 Galloway police answered 626 calls. Officers made a total of 25 arrests, and issued 81 traffic summonses. Officers responded to 23 motor vehicle accidents, 15 domestic complaints, 16 medical assists and five fire calls.

Scott Denice, 22, of Fairfield, Conn. was arrested July 16 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Robert L. Terrell, 28, and Gabrielle J. Bozzi, 22, both of Egg Harbor Township, were arrested July 16 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm for unlawful purpose, hindering apprehension and possession of controlled dangerous substance. Terrell was also charged with possession of a handgun by a felon. Both were lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing; Terrell on $50,000 bail and Bozzi on $15,000 bail.

Alexander M. Campbell, 19, of EggHarborCity was arrested July 17 by Ptl. Steven Garrison and charged with hindering apprehension. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on outstanding warrants.

Justin Kuo, 18, of Galloway was arrested July 17 by Ptl. P.J. Neal and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Gbasaykal Massaquoi, 23, of Galloway was arrested July 18 by Detective Bryan Casey and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.

Lavar L. Hands, 33, of Galloway was arrested July 18 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $150,000 full cash bail. Police were called to the residence to stand by while a property inspection took place. Police observed several bags of heroin in plain view. Hands was taken into custody and police allegedly found marijuana in his possession. A search warrant was applied for by Detective Ro Latoracca and executed. Police seized 20 additional bags of heroin, 20 grams of cocaine and $1,860 in cash.

Sandra I. Sierra, 44, of Vineland was arrested July 21 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Devaughn Staley, 34, of Staten Island, N.Y. was arrested July 21 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons. 

Damado Carillo, 22, of EggHarborCity was arrested July 21 by Ptl. Gary Brenner and charged with possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful use, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $20,000 bail.

Burglary Report

Avery K. Jordan II, 23, of Galloway was arrested July 10 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on a summons.

Daniel A. Dodd, 22, of Galloway and Christhyan J. Longo-Cruz, 23, of Egg Harbor Township were arrested July 10 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Dodd was also charged with possession of paraphernalia. They were released on summonses.

Dominic V. Dellagatta, 32, of Galloway was arrested July 10 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous
substance and paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

James D. Wilson, 50, of Galloway was arrested July 2 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

William J. Wilson, III, 25, of Buena Borough was arrested July 2 by Ptl. Daniel Weigle and charged with shoplifting and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Marcus A. Simpson, 41, of College Park, Ga. was arrested July 3 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Andrew P. Coggins, 23, of Hamilton Township was arrested July 3 by Special Officer Ronald Stephensen and charged with shoplifting. He was released on a summons.

Kevin J. Roylance, 33, was arrested July 4 by Ptl. Raymond Glick and charged with making a false report to law enforcement. He was released on a summons.

Stephen M. Tempest 22, of Egg Harbor was arrested July 6 by Ptl. Kevin Costa and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence . He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $35,000 bail. While on patrol, Costa observed a suspicious man at 2 a.m. at the intersection of Second and Ridgewood avenues. The man was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance – pills - prior to resisting arrest and throwing the suspected controlled dangerous substance, which was recovered.

Derreck Robinson, 20, of Galloway and Aigner S. Robinson, 18, of Hamilton Township were arrested July 6 by Ptl. Rita Abatemarco. Derreck Robinson was charged with resisting arrest by fleeing, obstruction and hindering apprehension. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $25,000 bail. Aigner Robinson was charged with hindering apprehension and obstruction. She was released on a summons. At 12:07 p.m. Abatemarco said she observed the pair illegally cross the center barrier on Route 30, and stopped them near Eighth Avenue. Officer Daniel Weigle arrived to assist. The man provided false information and fled on foot. Both officers pursued him through the Theresa Court Housing Complex. He was apprehended by Weigle on Theresa Court. The woman then left the scene and was located a short distance away where she too was taken into custody.

Ian M. Deibert, 20, of Galloway was arrested July 6 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Philip A. Mendez, 32, of Hamilton Township was arrested July 6 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with driving while intoxicated following a two vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Thomas A. Earling, 51, of Galloway was arrested July 7 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with trespassing. He was released on a summons.

Joey Martinez, 47, of Galloway was arrested July 7 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of mace. He was released on a summons.

Jorge A. Maradiaga, 51, of Austell, Ga. was arrested July 7 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Linda L. Santelli, 50, of Galloway was arrested July 8 by Ptl. Daniel Weigle and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

Diana Ramos, 30, of Galloway was arrested July 8 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with driving while intoxicated following a two vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

Officers made a total of 52 arrests, and issued 81 traffic summonses including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 19 motor vehicle accidents, 12 domestic complaints, 132 medical assists and 61 fire calls.

Matthew A. Bayout, 20, of Fleetwood, Pa. and Jerome P. Anderson, 20 of Oley, Pa. were arrested June 25 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci. Bayout was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia. Anderson was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Both were released on summonses.

Jake A. Connor, 21, of Galloway was arrested June 25 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Robert A. Anderson, 34, of Hammonton was arrested June 25 by Detective Cpl. Michael Goldberg and charged with theft. He was released on a summons.

Teghan D. Vaughn, 22, of Galloway was arrested June 26 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

Sabrina Taylor, 24, of Galloway was arrested June 26 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with resisting arrest, obstruction and neglect of a child. She was released on a summons.

Richard T. Keller, 22, of Vineland was arrested June 18 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.  

Sandra L. Anderson, 49, of Galloway was arrested June 18 by Cpl. Gerald Houck and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.  

Felix Osorio, 48, of Galloway was arrested June 18 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.  

Robert F. Strong, 21, of Egg Harbor City was arrested June 19 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.  

Adrien F. Bailey, 51, of Egg Harbor City was arrested June 19 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on a summons.  

Jeffrey L. Davis, 57, of Galloway was arrested June 22 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Michael W. Sandifort, 27, of Bronx, N.Y. was arrested June 14 by Officer Ronald Stephensen and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on an outstanding warrant.

Daril L. Jackson, 25, of Egg Harbor City was arrested June 16 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Denise Scott-James, 22, of Fairfield, Conn. was arrested June 17 by Ptl. Kerry Berman and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

Bernard B. Roberson, 23, of Galloway was arrested June 17 by Detective Ryan Goehringer and charged with burglary, and two counts of theft in a June 8 incident. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing. A burglary was reported in the 700 block of Moonraker Court in the Smithville section of the township. The homeowner reported that jewelry was missing. After an investigation by Goehringer, Roberson was charged with the burglary and theft. Police said some of the stolen jewelry was recovered.

Juvenile Report

A 16-year-old boy from Mullica Township was arrested June 15 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a juvenile summons.

A 15-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy, both from Galloway, were arrested by Ptl. Carolyn Buckley and charged with theft and trespassing. They were released on juvenile summonses.

Melissa P. Spina, 39, of Galloway, was arrested June 4 by Cpl. Mark D’Esposito and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

Marissa L. Sotlz, 29, of EggHarborTownship was arrested June 4 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on a summons.

Stephen T. Foy, 36, of Galloway was arrested June 5 by Officer Ronald Stephensen and charged with possession of an imitation firearm, possession of other weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.   

Richard J. Martin, 20, of Egg Harbor City was arrested June 5 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and tampering with evidence. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $25,000 full cash bail. Ceci observed a suspicious person at the Studio Inn Motel on Route 30. After an investigation and with the assistance of K-9 Officer Kevin Welsh and Sgt. Joseph Picardi, Martin was arrested and charged with possession of 44 bags of heroin. Police also seized $923.

Laura E. Hecht, 36, of Galloway was arrested June 6 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Joseph M. Contino. 46, of Galloway was arrested June 7 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with obstruction and disorderly conduct. He was released on a summons.

Latoya C. Fleming, 28, of Pleasantville was arrested June 7 by Ptl. Brian Tennant and charged with obstruction. She was released on summons.

Robert N. Sponsel, 45, of Galloway was arrested June 9 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with driving while intoxicated following a three-vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Two Atlantic City girls, 16 and 17, were arrested June 4 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with receiving stolen property and unlawful taking by means of conveyance. Both were released on juvenile summonses.

Burglaries were reported to buildings June 6 on Pheasant Meadow Drive and Moonraker Court, June 9 on W. Moss Mill Road and June 11 on Cherokee Drive.

Prosecutor’s Report

A 15-year-old Galloway youth charged with a November 2011 burglary received an 18-month suspended sentence. He will be on probation through April 2013. He will complete a Juvenile Justice Commission Residential Program, submit to DNA typing and pay $45 in fines and penalties.

Another 15-year-old youth was placed on probation for one year for a November 2011 burglary. He will attend the Minister’s Home Detention Project, not to exceed 30 days, pay restitution, submit to periodic urine monitoring, attend outpatient substance abuse treatment, submit to fingerprinting and DNA typing and pay a $45 in fines and penalties.

 

June 14, 2012

During the week May 28-June 3 Galloway Police answered 888 calls. Officers made 23 arrests, and issued 80 traffic summonses including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 25 motor vehicle accidents, 20 domestic complaints, 120 medical assists and 23 fire calls.

Eric Pezzotti, 19, of Galloway was arrested May 28 by Ptl. Daniel Weigle and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Bryan R. Nugent, 28, of Galloway was arrested May 28 by Ptl. Matthew Worth and charged with driving while intoxicated, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Todd DeSorte, 39, of Atco was arrested May 30 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Tracy Flath, 41, of Galloway was arrested May 31 by Ptl. Thomas Guercioni and William Schroer and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a minor in vehicle, reckless driving and parking in a handicap zone. She was released on a summons.

Michael C. Fitzpatrick, 23, and Andrew T. Fitzpatrick, 25, both of Galloway were arrested June 1 by Detective Ro Latoracca. Michael Fitzpatrick was charged with distributing a controlled dangerous substance and three counts of possession. He was held on $50,000 full-cash bail. Andrew Fitzpatrick was charged with conspiracy to distribute, and possession. He was released on a summons. The arrests came after an investigation by Latoracca. Police said they executed a search warrant on Nightingale Way in reference to narcotics activity and seized about a half pound of marijuana and $14,000 in cash.

Dante M. Bailey, 22, of Galloway was arrested June 1 by Sgt. Gary Jones and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Timothy R. Snow, 48, of Lindenwold was arrested June 2 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

John R. Kemp, 30, of Atlantic City was arrested June 3 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with possession of narcotics paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on a warrant.

James A. Cassidy IV, 24, of Manahawkin was arrested June 3 by Ptl. Robert Bauer and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Kristen Morrison, 31, of EggHarborCity was arrested May 23 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Matthew E. Friedman-Maguire, 34, of Galloway was arrested May 25 by Ptl. P.J. Neal and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Julius Jeffers III, 24, of Galloway was arrested May 25 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Antonio Bender, 24, of EggHarborCity was arrested May 25 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with four counts of assault. Bender was charged after allegedly assaulting four persons at Bulldog’s Bar and Grill. He was released on a summons.

George E. Saito, 28, of East Brunswick was arrested May 26 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia following a single car accident. He was released on a summons.

William A. Fonseca V, 21, of Galloway was arrested May 27 by Ptl. P.J. Neal and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Felex S. Caetano, 18, of Newark was arrested May 27 by Ptl. Steven Garrison and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Thomas J. Kovsh, 21, of Galloway was arrested May 27 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with robbery by force. Kovsh was stopped by Shop Rite security during a shoplifting investigation. The security officer was assaulted during the investigation. Kovsh was charged with robbery for allegedly using force. A Red Bull drink was recovered. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $50,000 bail.

James Garrity, 38, of Galloway was arrested May 27 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with diriving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Shaquile X. Martin, 20, of Galloway was arrested May 16 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with assault by auto while driving while intoxicated in an April 7 accident. He was released on a summons.

Mark S. Cloud, 24, of Absecon was arrested May 17 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single vehicle accident.  He was released on a summons.

John Alex Marmaduke, 19, of Galloway was arrested May 9 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with theft. He was released on a summons.


Donna Tash, 44, of Bellmawr and Stephon Williams, 21, of Willingboro were arrested May 11 by Detective Ro Latoracca and charged with burglary and theft. Both were charged in connection with a reported burglary and theft on May 1 in the 800 block of Aloe Street. Metal items were removed from a vacant residence and barn. Patryk N. Paskiewicz, 28, of Galloway was arrested April 28 by Ptl. Scott Winneberger and charged with two counts of burglary to a vehicle, theft, and receiving stolen property. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Gino S. Hagenkotter, 22, of Mt. Royal , Gloucester County , was arrested April 16 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. He was held on $5,000 bail.

Richard Martin, 20, of Egg Harbor City was arrested April 16 by Ptl. Justin Kiamos and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Isaiah Caldwell, 28, of Galloway was arrested April 18 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. He was released on a summons.

Jin Lua Li, 37, and Lian Cui, 39, of Galloway were arrested April 18 by Detectives Ro Latoracca and Ryan Goehringer and charged with prostitution. They were released on summonses. Galloway Township police received information of prostitution occurring at the Hands-On Day Spa on W. White Horse Pike. Undercover officers were solicited for acts of prostitution, police said. A search warrant was obtained and executed for the business on April 18. Police said they seized several hundred dollars in cash.

Marlon Davis, 34, of Hamilton Township was arrested April 19 by Officer Ron Stephenson and charged with burglary to a vehicle, criminal mischief and contempt. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $42,500 bail. Police said they observed Davis entering a vehicle in the parking lot of the Municipal Complex that did not belong to him at 9:44 a.m. They said Davis was attempting to cause damage when police approached him.

Michael D. Montufar, 56, of Galloway was arrested April 19 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on $20,000 bail.  A maintenance worker was picking up trash on Iroquois Drive when Montufar allegedly attempted to assault the worker with a 3-foot-long stick for an unknown reason, police said.

Neota J. Moore, 29, of Galloway was arrested April 19 by Ptl. Kevin Welsh and charged with hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing on an outstanding warrant.

Zachary Shane Banfield-Austin, 18, of Galloway was arrested April 21 by Ptl. Ken Snuffer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Regie Langley, 18, of Galloway was arrested April 21 by Ptl. Robert Bauer and charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, hindering arrest and obstruction.  He was released on a summons.

Michael L. Balic, 24, of Galloway was arrested April 11 by Ptl. Steven Garrison and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Adrian Lindsey, 42, of Galloway was arrested April 13 by Ptl. Rita Abatemarco and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Angela N. Fradkin, 30, of Port Republic was arrested April 13 by Ptl. Daniel Weigle and charged with driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

Craig Pendleton-Whealton, 19, was arrested April 13 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with hindering apprehension and entering to purchase alcohol while underage. He was released on a summons.

Virginia Gregg, 41, of Brooklyn , N.Y. and Samantha L. Ratty, 24, of Brigantine were arrested April 13. Gregg was arrested by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, destruction of evidence and endangering the welfare of a child. Ratty was arrested by Sgt. Joseph Picardi and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, hindering apprehension, obstruction and endangering the welfare of a child. Both were lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility - Gregg on $25,000 full cash bail, Ratty on $10,000 full cash bail.

Angel Garcia, 18, of Galloway was arrested April 14 by Cpl. Mark D’Esposito and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief. He was released on a summons.

Rondean D. McDonald, 32, of Pleasantville and Miles Whittington, 47, of Hamilton Township were arrested April 2 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos. McDonald was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Whittington was charged with possession of paraphernalia. Both were released on summonses.

Roger M. Doria, 41, of Galloway was arrested April 3 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Dion E. Robinson, 27, of Pleasantville, Terron M. Henderson, 27, of Atlantic City and Catilya T. Carson, 27, of Galloway were arrested April 5 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with possession of a handgun and hindering apprehension. Robinson and Henderson were also charged with possession of a handgun by convicted felons. Lucas E. Stauffer-Weller, 33, of Hillsboro was arrested March 20 by Special Officer Ronald Stephensen on a fugitive warrant from North Carolina . He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility awaiting extradition.

Sheriff’s Report

Christopher Gardella, 29, of Galloway was arrested March 22 by Detectives Eric Wise and Jeffery Newman on a Superior Court bench warrant, nonsupport and a municipal warrant issued by Hamilton Township .

Tylon Holloway, 35, of Galloway was arrested March 23 by Sheriff’s Officer Stephen Lisi on a nonsupport warrant.

 

March 29, 2012

Derreck M. Robinson, 19, of Galloway was arrested March 12 by Ptl. Robert Bauer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, failure to surrender a controlled dangerous substance to police and hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons. Officer Robert Bauer, responding to Theresa Court for a report of a disturbance, said he saw Robinson throw a bag containing four bags of marijuana. Robinson was taken into custody. The source of the disturbance was unstated.

Rasheed O. Hines, 24, of Pleasantville was arrested March 14 by Ptl. William Kline and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on a summons. Officer William Kline reportedly observed suspicious activity at a motel parking lot on Route 30 and conducted a motor vehicle stop. He said the driver was found in possession of marijuana. Police said a second search conducted at a motel room turned up 45 grams of marijuana.

Lindsey E. Weber, 29, of Galloway was arrested March 14 by Lt. Chris Doyle and charged with eluding a law enforcement officer. She was released on a summons. Weber was observed operating a quad motorcycle on Ridgewood Avenue along with an unknown male on a dirt bike. She was apprehended when the vehicle stalled at Jimmie Leeds Road and the Garden State Parkway .

Walter F. Reber, 37, of Galloway was arrested March 15 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with obstruction and making a false public alarm. He was released on a summons.

Tarrant A. Jones, 21, of Absecon was arrested March 16 by Ptl. Daniel Choe and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single vehicle accident. He was released on a summons.

Rufus J. Hughes Jr., 50, of Sicklerville and Raphael J. Hughes, 26, and Darnell Hughes, 33, of Galloway were arrested March 16 by Officer Dan Weigle. Rufus Hughes was charged with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. He was lodged at the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in Mays Landing in lieu of $10,000 full cash bail. Raphael Hughes was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and jailed on an outstanding warrant. Darnell Hughes was arrested on an outstanding warrant and released on a summons.

Gerardo Fontanez, 50, of Galloway was arrested March 17 by Cpl. Mark D’Esposito and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Lamar R. Fisher, 32, of Atlantic City was arrested March 18 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance on or near school property, possession with intent to distribute, possession, and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on summonses. He was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Wrangleboro Road at Walden Way , near Absegami High School . The officer said the driver was in possession of 29 grams of marijuana and a scale. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for driving an unregistered vehicle.

Juvenile Report

A 16-year-old boy from Galloway was arrested March 13 by Officer Ron Stephensen and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession on school property – Absegami High School – and failure to surrender the substance to a law enforcement officer. He was released on a juvenile summons.

Burglary Report

Burglaries were reported at buildings March 14 on West Park Avenue and March 17 on Meadow Ridge Road . A vehicle burglary was reported March 16 on Gull Wing Place .

 

March 22, 2012

During the week of March 5 - 11, the Galloway Township Police Department answered 966 calls. Officers made 29 arrests, and issued 65 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 14motor vehicle accidents, 11 domestic complaints, 86 medical assists and 15 fire calls.

Tracy J. Dillon, a 24 y/o male, from Clermont, and Megan L. Fitzpatrick, 26, of Petersburg were arrested March 6 by Det. Ro Latoracca for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. They were released on summonses. Det. Latoracca and Det. Chris McGinty observed a suspicious vehicle parked on Xanthus Ave in the Pinehurst area. They conducted a stop of the vehicle and found both in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Sean R. Stewart, 26, of Galloway was arrested March 7 by Ptl. Bryan Casey for resisting arrest. He was lodged in ACJF on an outstanding warrant.

Zachary S. Gildenberg, 19, of Kendall Park was arrested March 8 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos for exhibiting a false ID and attempting to purchase alcohol while underage from Community Liquors. . He was released on a summons.

Gunnar H. North, 25, of Somers Point was arrested March 8 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker for burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools, defiant trespass and criminal mischief. He was lodged in ACJF on $15,000 bail.  Officer Crocker observed a pickup truck leaving the former Lenox China Plant on Tilton Rd. She observed copper piping in the rear of the truck. She stopped the vehicle and conducted an investigation. Other officers responded and checked the building finding a smashed glass door. Officer Crocker had conducted a property check a short time earlier and the damage was not there. North was arrested and charged in connection with the burglary and his vehicle was impounded.

Philip P. Mastrandrea, 21, of N. Bellmore, NY, was arrested March 8 by Ptl. P.J. Neal for possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia.  He was released on a summons.

Dana E. Ruggia, 52, of Absecon was arrested March 9 by Ptl. Robert Bauer for DWI. He was released on a summons.

Edward L. Smith, Sr., 46, of Galloway was arrested March 9 by Ptl. Steven Vernon for burglary, theft and possession of CDS. He was lodged in ACJF in lieu of $10,000 bail. At 1036am, Galloway Police received a call from an alert citizen reporting a burglary in progress in the 100 block of W. WHP . The caller reporting seeing a male climb in a window to a vacant residence. As officers approached the area, a vehicle identified by the caller, was observed leaving the area and was stopped by Officer Kerry Baerman. After an investigation, Smith was arrested and charged in connection with the burglary. Smith was also found in possession of CDS (pills)

Steven V. Nehr, Jr., 18, of Galloway was arrested March 10 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau for possession of CDS. He was released on a summons.

Donald R. Ovestrud, 37, of EHT was arrested March 11 by Ptl. Robert Bauer for possession of CDS, possession of paraphernalia , failure to surrender to CDS to police and hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons. 

Joseph A. Kuehner, III, 38, of Egg Harbor was arrested March 11 by Ptl. Daniel Choe for DWI. He was released on a summons.

Nikki Axler, 19, of Tabernacle was arrested March 11 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos for possession of CDS. She was released on a summons.

During the week of Feb. 27-March 4, the Galloway Township Police Department answered 862 calls. Officers made 44 arrests, and issued 84 traffic summonses including two charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 15 motor vehicle accidents, 11 domestic complaints, 86 medical assists and 10 fire calls.

Richard A. Preuster Jr., 48, of Absecon was arrested Feb. 26 by Ptl. Kerry Baerman and charged with driving while suspended from previous driving while intoxicated charges. He was released on a summons.

Kayla B. Twyman, 24, of Buena was arrested Feb. 28 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant.

Tegan D. Vaughn, 21, of Mullica was arrested Feb. 28 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of hypodermic needles. She was again arrested March 3 by Sgt. Joseph Picardi and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. She was released on a summons on all charges.

George W. Sawyer, 41, was arrested Feb. 28 by Sgt. Joseph Picardi and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Brittany C. Hare, 25, of Galloway was arrested Feb. 29 by Ptl. John Mooney. Hare was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Batson was charged with hindering apprehension. Both were released on summonses.

Lauren A. Nathanson, 29, was arrested March 1 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with hindering apprehension. She was released on a summons.

Eric Weyant, 18, of Romansville , Pa. , and Nicholas Finizio, 19, of Oakland , Bergen County , were arrested March 1 by Ptl. Gary Brenner and charged with entering Community Liquors to purchase alcohol while under age. They were released on summonses.

Baldemar Sanchez-Rojas, 31, of Long Island , N.Y. was arrested March 2 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with possession of burglary tools. He was released on a summons.

Stephen B. Kargbo, 21, of Galloway was arrested March 2 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a summons.

Donna L. Siracusa, 59, of Galloway was arrested March 2 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with driving while intoxicated. She was released on a summons.

Alyssa Salvatore-Miranda, 18, was arrested March 2 by Ptl. Rita Abatemarco and charged with hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on outstanding warrants.

Hannah L. Scull, 19, of Galloway was arrested March 3 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in lieu of $10,000 full cash bail.

Scott J. Peak , 33, of Galloway was arrested March 3 by Ptl. P.J. Neal and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Elijah B. Seyler, 30, of Port Republic was arrested March 4 by Ptl. Vincent Ceci and charged with burglary, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in lieu of $35,000 bail. He was arrested as a result of a suspicious person call in the area of the Galloway Diner that a man was entering vehicles parked in the lot at 12:31 a.m. Ceci located the suspect, who matched the callers’ description, on nearby Apple Road. He was found in possession of items including a Tom Tom GPS and radar detector, reported stolen from a vehicle on Apple Road and was arrested. Police said a cellular phone was also recovered.

Jessica L. Hackett, 31, of Galloway, and Lacy A. Pegues, 44, of Egg Harbor City were arrested March 4 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu. Hackett was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. Pegues was charged with simple assault. Both were released on summonses.

Juvenile Report

A 13-year-old Galloway boy was arrested Feb. 28 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with theft. He was released on a juvenile summons.

A 16-year-old Galloway girl was arrested March 2 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. She was released on a juvenile summons.

Eduardo Alvarado, 50, of Galloway was arrested Feb. 21 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

Amanda L. Hawkins, 22, of Galloway was arrested Feb. 22 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with driving while intoxicated, and three charges of possession of controlled dangerous substances. She was released on summonses.

Joseph R. O'Brien, 19, of Brigantine was arrested Feb. 23 by Cpl. Mark D'Esposito and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.

John S. Reres, 54, and Nicholas J. Reres, 21, both of Galloway were arrested Feb. 24 by Ptl. Bryan Casey. John Reres was charged with seven counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Nicholas Reres was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Both were also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia.

Kerry D. McDonald, 19, of Galloway was arrested Feb. 24 by Special Officer Przemyslaw Ryba and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.

Kelly L. Ryan, 25, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 31 by Ptl. Bryan Casey and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was released on a summons.

Richard Martinez, 39, of Hammonton was arrested Jan. 17 by Ptl. Jacquelyn Crocker and charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, obstruction, theft and aggravated assault on a police officer. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $100,000 full cash bail.

Charles T. Flippen, 54, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 18 by Ptl. Stephen Vernon and charged with burglary, trespassing and criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $12,500 full cash bail.

Giglio was charged with hindering apprehension and disorderly conduct. Melendez was charged with criminal trespass, hindering apprehension and criminal mischief. Both were released on summonses.

Brandon E. Risley, 21, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 20 by Detective Ryan Goehringer and charged with theft. He was released on a summons.

Yomary Rodriguez, 32, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 21 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of hypodermic needles and hindering apprehension. She was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on outstanding warrants.

Bernard Y. Taylor, 34, of Pleasantville was arrested Jan. 21 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and use of a juvenile to commit a crime. He was lodged in Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on $25,000 bail.

A 15-year-old Galloway boy was arrested Jan. 18 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on a juvenile summons.

During the week Jan. 23-29 the Galloway Township Police Department answered 1,016 calls. Officers made 20 arrests and issued 99 traffic summonses including four charges of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 13 motor vehicle accidents, six domestic complaints, 98 medical assists and 14 fire calls.

Cyrena M. Reres, 18, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 26 by Ptl. Paul Smith and charged with driving while intoxicated, obstruction and hindering apprehension. She was released on summonses.

Brian R. Terry, 33, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 26 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with obstruction. He was released on a summons.

Juan A. Herrera Jr., 22, of Absecon was arrested Jan. 27 by Ptl. William Schroer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

Caleb A. Bostic, 20, of Egg Harbor City , and Lindsey G. Zuber, 20, of Weymouth were arrested Jan. 27 by Ptl. Robert Bauer and charged with hindering apprehension. Bostic was released and Zuber was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility for failure to post $750 bail on an outstanding warrant.

Christopher D. Smith, 24, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 28 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez and charged with driving while intoxicated following a hit and run accident. He was released on a summons.

Samantha Ratty, 23, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 2 by Ptl. Jacqueline Crocker and charged with hindering apprehension. She was released on a summons.

Matthew E. Tomlinson, 23, of Somers Point, Troy S. Helduser, 35, of Folsom and Ayisha Levenski, 21, of Somers Point were arrested Jan. 3 by Ptl. Bryan Casey. Tomlinson was charged with aggravated assault to a law enforcement officer, hindering apprehension and resisting arrest by fleeing on foot. Helduser and Levenski were charged with hindering the apprehension of another. Tomlinson was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail. Helduser and Levenski were released on summonses.

Verna C. Watkins, 45, of Egg Harbor City was arrested Jan. 3 by Ptl. P.J. Neal and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia. She was lodged in lieu of $25,000 full cash bail.

Elijah Metts, 22, of Galloway , was arrested Jan. 3 by Ptl. Christian Magazzu and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and improper behavior. He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant.

Quinn McCord, 23, of Galloway was arrested Jan. 4 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. He was released on summonses.

Kristen Fedorko, 32 of Little Egg Harbor Township and Kenneth Montanye, 24, of Toms River were arrested Jan. 5 by Ptl. Jason Kiamos and charged with possession of  controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. They were released on summonses.

George D. Dean Jr., 23, of Port Republic was arrested Jan. 6 by Cpl. Mark D’Esposito and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.  He was lodged in the Gerard L. Gormley Justice Facility on an outstanding warrant.

Noah L. Pace, 37, of Trenton was arrested Jan. 7 by Ptl. John Mooney and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

The Galloway Township Police Department answered 918 calls Dec. 26-Jan. 1. Officers made 16 arrests and issued 85 traffic summonses including one charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to 11 motor vehicle accidents, 20 domestic complaints, 82 medical assists and 12 fire calls.

Tanisha N. Watkins, 22, and Stephanie Garcia, 20, of Galloway were arrested Dec. 27 by Ptl. Ken Snuffer and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute. They were lodged in the Atlantic County jail; Watkins on $75,000 full cash bail and Garcia on $100,000 full cash bail.

Ryan E. Sullivan, 21, of Mays Landing was arrested Dec. 27 by Officer Ryan Dubiel and charged with possession of a handgun. He was released on his own recognizance on a warrant.

Edward Hyunh, 23, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 30 by Ptl. Ron Gorneau and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons. 

Gordon T. Starks, 22, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptl. Ronald Gorneau and charged with obstruction of the administration of law, assault and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was lodged in the Atlantic County jail in lieu of $5,000 full cash bail.

Richard E. Peak III, 27, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptl. Justin Butler and charged with driving while intoxicated following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident. He was released on a summons.

Korrey Williams, 27, of Galloway was arrested Dec. 31 by Ptl. Hiram Melendez and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons.

Raphael Hughes, 26, of Pleasantville was arrested Jan. 1 by Officer P. Ryba and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was released on a summons.

12/22 Viktoyia V. Kuzmitskaya, 30, of EHT was arrested by Ptl. Scott Winneberger for DWI following a single vehicle accident. She was released on a summons.

12/25 Harold T, Turner, 44 and Joseph Durdack, 43, both of Galloway , were arrested by Ptl. Steven Garrison. Turner was charged with obstruction and resisting and was released on a summons. Durdack was charged with creating a false public alarm and making a false report to law enforcement. He was lodged in ACJF in lieu of $5000 bail.
