Media Release - Armed Robbery

Victim Gender / City / Age Only: 23 year old male from Galloway  

Accused name only when charged and arrested / City / Age: Unknown  

Incident Location by hundred block, no exact address: On a trail by Cherokee Dr.  

Arresting / Investigating Officer: Ptl. Jason Kiamos  

Misc. / Other Related Information: The victim was walking along a trail by Cherokee Drive in the Society Hill II complex in the Clubs section of Galloway when he was approached by two black males armed with a black and silver semi-automatic handgun. They demanded money from the victim and took his wallet, $4.00 cash, and his cell phone. They then struck the victim in the head with the handgun and fled the scene.  

The suspect with the gun is described as being a dark skinned black male in his early twenties with a round face about 57  tall with big shoulders wearing a turquoise hoodie and a white wave cap. The second subject was described as a black male wearing a black hoodie.  

The victim received a minor cut to his thumb during the assault and did not require medical attention.  

A Galloway K9 tracked the suspects to Iroquois Drive where the trail was lost.
