On July 16, 2012 at 1:46pm Galloway Police Officer Jacqueline Crocker conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt 30 at the Galloway/Absecon border.  The vehicle was stopped for the occupants not wearing seat belts.  Officer Paul Smith responded to assist.  The driver, Gabrielle J. Bozzi, age 22 of EHT was found to have an outstanding traffic out of Ocean City Municipal Court.  A male passenger, Robert Terrell, (aka Abdul Rasheed) age 28 of EHT was found to be providing false information regarding his identity.  Terrell (aka Rasheed) was found to be wanted by NJ State Parole on a parole violation warrant.  Officers on scene observed a handgun in the vehicle.  Both were taken into custody.  Heroin was also recovered along with $934 in cash.  The handgun was a loaded 32 caliber revolver.  Both were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Poss of Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Poss of CDS and Hindering Apprehension.  The male was additionally charged with Poss of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. 

Additionally, the female was charged with motor vehicle offenses; Improper Use of Child Restraints, Driving While Suspended and CDS in a Motor Vehicle.  The male was also charged with not Wearing a Seatbelt.  Bail was set by JMC Howard Freed $15,000 cash for Bozzi and $50,000 cash for Terrell (aka Rasheed.) Both were transported to the ACJF.
