The Galloway Township Police Department is hosting a Junior Law Enforcement Academy for Galloway residents 12 to 14 years of age. The academy will take place from July 17 to July 21, 2023. This will be available for any youth leader who wishes to participate. The academy will be 5 days in length between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The goals of the academy will focus on teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities among other academy recruits. This will be done with an overall emphasis on the law enforcement profession and the elements within that structure.
Due to the limited number of slots available for this academy, the openings will be filled in the order in which the applications are received. If selected, the academy will be free of charge and further details will be sent out when the attached entrance form is completed. A limited background check may be conducted on the participant with the referral provided for the student wishing to attend.
