On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Galloway Township Police Department, we are excited to announce the date of this year’s National Night Out, Tuesday, August 5th, 2025!
As the Police Chief, I am very proud of what this event represents. Law Enforcement Officers and the community coming together, surrounded by volunteers and local businesses, to bring about trust, togetherness, and shed positive light on our relentless duty to free our neighborhoods of crime, drugs, and violence! Last year’s event was again a huge success. In order to continue providing a great event, we need your help and participation to promote a safe and fun-filled evening for our residents, business owners, and visitors alike.
In the past, we’ve estimated that over 7000 people attend and enjoy demonstrations from Police, Fire, EMS, SWAT, and over 75+ vendor booths from various businesses in Galloway and Atlantic County. We’ve hosted multiple helicopters and aviation units and even a live demonstration by Forest Fire with a helicopter water drop from our very own Patriot Lake. Last year, we had the pleasure of having the Atlantic County SWAT team do a demonstration for us.
Other demonstrations include crafts, child safety seat inspection and installation sign-ups, a police K9 demonstration, firefighting, games, food, 50/50, entertainment, and much more!
